It is a known fact that you should shot your movie so the raw footage looks good and not have to fix it in post. Well I had quite the time fixing my movie. First edit, next remove the unwanted gain than color correct. This is my new best friend. You ever watch the special features of a movie and you see the deleted scene and it almost looks like a home video camera? Well this is because it hasn't been color corrected. Here is a prime example.
The original image from the camera. Notice the low contrast and grain in the bushes.
Here is the color corrected footage. Notice the high contrast and vivid colors. Also notice that there is less grain in this one. I love color correction.
The final film will be posted on Sunday and will be up for a week only. So tell your friends to watch it is going to be amazing. Thanks.
