adventures

Micah's been man of the hour lately, helping out on all his classmates' projects. And he brings home stories of adventures and pictures of opportunities. I feel like he's Zorro going off afar places wearing a mask I'm unfamiliar with. I never really see him with the mask on or am really sure all the places he disappears to; but he recounts adventures of lighting torches in caves, colliding cars, and chasing Zebras.

The weekend before last, Micah was free to play with us! So we made an occasion of it. We ate at the infamous "In and Out". However, neither of us were dropping our jaws over it. We rented our first blue-ray DVD; thanks to Micah's brother, Dan. It was a beautiful pictures. We watched 2012, a ridiculous movie, but perfect for what we wanted. We attended our Stake's annual International Night. We watched Brazilian artistic fighting, Mexican dancing, Russian singing, learned to weave Hawaiian leis, and my favorite listened to Korean drummers. We also went bowling! That was actually Eden's idea, I'd talked to her about it a few weeks earlier, that we could go as a family sometime. And then she spontaneously remembered. We had a blast. Eden really got into it to, carrying her own bowling ball, a mighty heave and then running away. She was anxious for her turn every moment, until she found the fan every bowling lane has. Then we shared an ice cream from the creamery.

Micah's borrowed Michelle's nice camera for practicing some technicques so here's a few pictures of our adventures.

I love Eden and the fan - the girl knows how to enjoy a good thing when she finds it! Your family sure knows how to have a good weekend, it all sounded like a blast! And Wow, married to a Zorro, aye? That sounds really exciting and a lot of work. Thanks for sharing!
