The best day

The last couple months have been spring cleaning and mucking out months. When all of your neighbors have the same house, you can drastically see how and where yours can be improved! Thus I have some good motivations. Another exciting reason for my undertaking is to make room for my sister coming to live with me for a few weeks during spring term!
My neighbor friend, Libby, took pity on me and we ventured to Ikea during priesthood conference. She gave me great tips for improvements, and places to add colors. I came home with a new valance which I'm loving. It's colors remind me of a teacher I had in high school, Jane Payne, so it makes me happy, as she is a happy person.
So all this extra 'stuff' I've been gleaning in my apartment was finding a temporary home under my bed. Until even my bed seemed to be floating on all this clutter. Our fond neighbors, the Tingeys, planted an idea to do a joint yard sale. They are moving soon (moment of silence) and so were doing a massive spring cleaning too. So on the 10th that's what we did! It was way fun spending the morning with them. Micah and I decided that whatever money we make will go to partying that night! We made 50 smakeroos! Where to eat and play.....It started with Greek food. Then to Nickle City arcade where for the first time in my life I had more than 3 options of what to buy with my won tickets. Ice cream was in order, so cold stone was a must; but, we were too full so we were going to just stick it in the freezer. We stopped to get a movie first, Princess and the Frog, and played outside for a while. Micah put the ice cream outside so it wouldn't melt so much..and you can see where this is going, we drove over them :( The movie was still just as amazing without ice cream. Plus we had money left over that fed us pizza for three days! (blissful, not to have to cook). It was one of the best days of the year for me! So I wanted to share it with you, sorry no pictures.
