air travel: the test of humanity

I believe air ports bring out the worst or best in people. Some people were SO nice to us, especially having a baby. They would help entertain Eden, try to make her smile, give compliments, and be very patient through her wailing. And then, you run into the grumpies: those that push and curse through lines of waiting. I was pleasantly surprised by the TSA in Spokane. After practically undressing, dumping everything out of every pocket and crevice of bag, being whipped along the way, but keeping your boarding pass and ID in your hand, and then putting everything back together in a fraction of the time you had to take it apart; my blood pressure had jumped 30 points, pulse and respirations increased to anxiety attack level 5. If I worked in that enviroment I would be a grumpy TSA too. But one TSA worker who had to through away some of our lotion and paraphanelia even apologized and talked civily with us! Then on the airplane, we were sitting in the back, across from the beverage cart and there was a lady who was stealing alcohol right in front of me. I tapped her on the back and gave her "the look" of you'd better stop. But then she came back for more! Poor lady, she was pretty drunk. We tattled and she ended up getting kicked off the plane. It was comical to me though because that's the kind of senario you'd only see in movies or something.
So to sum up this story: you can tell alot about a person when they are in the airport/security checks and airplane.

Oh my goodness! I was going to ask you how flying with Eden went! I hate how I get so brain dead sometimes! The story of the alcohol bandit was so funny! i would have had a hard time not laughing out loud if I saw it myself!

Wow. That's quite the story. I get overwhelmed just having to pack/unpack the car everytime we go anywhere. Babies are so small but they have so much stuff. It's crazy.

Where did you go?

We had some adventures flying last year, too. But none of them as funny as the drunk lady, haha!
