Posts from the past

There were a few things I wanted to mention from last month but didn't get to it...
SLEDDING! It was much more fun this year...NOT being 9 months pregnant and watching Eden laugh and smile.

Each year we add a little more to our traditions list. Last year it was lights, this year it was giving holiday treats, hopefully next year we'll do Christmas cards.

Autumn, my sister-in-law, came home to visit from Cameroon. It was awesome to see her! She brought us back gifts including these sweet pants. She also taught us how to make Koki, a pureed black eye peas dish. It was fun shucking bean after bean after bean and listening to everyone quote Brain Regan the comedian.

And of course, we continued with the Brown tradition of real gingerbread houses. But I have to say, never go gum drop shopping 3 days before Christmas, there aren't ANY! (until the 5th attempt)

I love your sledding video, and those pants are pretty cool too!! Do you know what that black eyed peas recipe was? I have a bunch in my kitchen that I don't know what to do with!

We have so much snow in the hill behind our apartment that we want to sled! And I keep thinking about your broken ankle last year. Haha! Well, I mean... I'm not laughing at your broken ankle, I'm just thinking that if I go sledding I'll break something.

Its nice to see you here! Eden is beautiful and all grown up.

We miss you, guys!!
