Some of my favorite news was that I've seen lots of family the last 5 days! Michelle came to visit me from Rexburg over Valentines weekend, and then I followed her back up to Idaho Falls for a couple days. She came down to scope out BYU's campus considering moving here next Fall, which totally rocks my world! While she was down here we had fun, at leaste I did. We tried out Sub-Zero ice cream. For those unfamiliar....they pour cream and your choice of flavors and mix-ins in a bowl, then pour liquid (which is more like gas?) nitrogen over it and you watch it turn into ice cream! It was really fun, not amazing tasting, but what it lacked in taste it more than made up in experience. We also went out for breakfast at denny's, which is a very new and different experience for me now, with Eden. We had a fun valentine's dinner and Cathy (Michelle's friend) joined us. I successfully made a ham, and it wasn't even that hard! Michelle and Cathy offered to babysit, which was way nice; so Micah and I went bowling and played a virtual game of "Deal or no Deal"!!! We ended up with the case that held 1 dollar! My bowling score was 62 and Micah's 98. I enjoy the game if I can break 60 points. Looking back, I suppose that wasn't a very "lucky" night, but I felt like I was walking under my lucky star! Then I had to work a 12 hour shift. I was so bumbed I couldn't spend that time at home with Michelle, but she was totally supportive.

Over the weekend, my Grandpa passed away. Fortuenatly it was something we'd been preparing our hearts for since he'd been on hospice for a few weeks, he was 89. That's why I drove back with Michelle. I thank my parents for putting me and Eden up in a hotel!!!! I was able to see my Grandma and Eden meet her great-grandma Rydalch. That is always a special treat since she's had ailing health for most of her life. The funeral was perfect. I got to reflect, appreciate, learn, love and say goodbye for quite a while to my Grandpa. I learned a little more about life, and got to know some cousins better. I won't burden you with details of a funeral...
I have a new calling in my church, Primary President. Supervise and love all children 12 and under in our ward. When I say all, I mean 5 three and older and 8 two and younger ;).
I've been called in for jury duty twice, but each time it was cancelled! I even got work off for one of them. The last 2 weeks, we've gone through stomache bugs. ear infections, and colds. I've still got one lingering, but what's new with that, they always settle in my lungs. It's just nice to hear Eden laughing again!
Eden's latest obsessions....she enjoys playing 'ghost'; putting a blanket over her head and making sure she doesn't run into too much. Some birds have begun signing and she loves to stand on the deck waiting for their appearance. She's started mimicking words, though they sound NOTHING like it. She finally says dada! It's so sweet to hear it! I think not seeing him for a couple days helped that along.

I miss you guys and so wish I could have been there. I loved reading all your little tid bits. I love being able to see, even the little things, that are going on in your life. It makes me feel a little closer to you, though we live too darn far away.
Congrats Becky...those little kids will thrive under your leadership! Sorry about your grandpa but glad it brought some good times for family.
