FL'd

My Valentine's day turned into valentines week, and I just wanted to announce that I'm FL'd. (When your heart is just full of love). I think this was the best valentines day I've ever had, and could ever have! Maybe it was I was putting more effort into it, but I decided I love Valentines day. A day you can say I love you to anyone, and they won't look at you funny or wonder what's brought this on. It started with my door being attacked by kind notes written on hearts! Then I had a 'secret sister' drop cupcakes off at my door. Eden, Micah, and I, dropped off a few valentines to friends. And Eden thought was way too fun with exclamations of 'more van-times!' Micah surprised me by taking me to Thai food, then to walmart to buy a treat that we'd eat at a bed in breakfast. Michelle watched Eden that night, and I felt so spoiled. I was at work on Valentines day, and that was nice for me. I've come to really love the people at the nursing home, and was happy to tell them so. It was fun to go in their room and wake them up whispering 'happy valentines day'. I got so many smiles that morning (as opposed to the grimace they often give as they see the cup of pills I hold in my hand and a wincing smile on my face). Then my visiting teacher, probably the best in the world, surprised me coming to my work with a plate of cookies! THEN when I came home, another friend who is a great baker, had brought over the biggest valentine cookie you'll ever see. I hope I can pass on all the love I've been given! And to whoever is reading this blog, I love you too!
