I was so very looking forward to summer. I imagined it with lounging lazy days, especially with Micah in the picture with no homework and fewer projects. However, it's coming to pass in a blurring alternate form. Micah is working extra hard (which is part my fault for quitting my job). He's seizing his freer moments to sharpen his trade skills and work on long desired projects. So working harder means we have to play harder! So I'll share some pictures with you of hard at play pictures!
Becky Tingey invited Eden and I up to her ranch while Micah was out one weekend. That weekend was like we were in the rain forest rather than dry Wyoming! Nonstop rain! But I loved it that way because I had little other choice than to stare out the window all day at the beautiful, green nothingness of the world. For the moment it let up raining, we went on a walk through the marshes towards the overflowed river. At one point, the cattle spooked us as they came jaunting straight at us. We hoped a fence and there they stood; a line back of cows! Slightly unnerving and comical. Can I pause for a moment and give a shout out to Becky, one of the greatest friends the world has to offer! She's moving this weekend and it makes me sad. I have a few other fun days to share too.....
Becky was teacher of the year at her school and generously shared some of her prizes with me. One was a pass to this sweeeeeeet water park. It was wicked fun. She also shared a gift card for a professional massage. During which we could change from nearly unconscious relaxation to giggles in two seconds.
We got out bikes all fixed up for the summer and have really been enjoying them. Our favorite excursions have been to Mavericks for their 99 cent ice cream cones, to bigger parks, and along the provo river trail. It also makes me happy that Micah is always willing to pull Eden along, otherwise they may not be so enjoyable.
Micah's absence gave us another excuse to get out of the house. A trip to Thanksgiving point was in order! We went to their animal farm which Eden loved! She was so excited to ride the pony she patiently waited in line for what felt like forever.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your hair cut. So cute. You're so beautiful!
I LOVE the haircut! I think you look so sophisticated. . . and so brave! It looks great.
Patience is good when working with horses. Our little cow girl has good form too.
XOs all around
I love your hair!!! Also, that picture of the cows is freaky! I don't even know what I would do if those things came stampeeding (that's what happened right?) toward me and my offspring!!! Can't wait to see you!
Your hair is ADORABLE!!! So super cute. I'm proud of you for playing so hard!
So, I'm also deciding I love the new due! It really fits your personality. I am also glad you are managing to squeeze in so much fun stuff (except for the freaky cow picture)! This will definitely be a summer well remembered!
You look like you are having so much fun! Can't wait to have you share the fun with us!
